Syncing lists in aACE with VerticalResponse ensures that your list matches seamlessly between your aACE solution and your VerticalResponse account. Lists in aACE are stored separately from lists created in VerticalResponse because contacts can be added to VerticalResponse manually, for example through a sign-up sheet on your website. These contacts will not be imported into aACE until the lists are synced.
There are three things that happen during this process:
- Contacts that have been added to your aACE list but not your VerticalResponse list will be uploaded to VerticalResponse.
- Contacts that have been added to your VerticalResponse list but not your aACE list will be downloaded to your list in aACE, giving you the option to create a new contact record in aACE or link the contact to an existing record.
- Contacts that have been removed from your aACE list but not your VerticalResponse list will be removed from your list in VerticalResponse.
To sync your list with VerticalResponse, navigate to the VerticalResponse tab in your list. In the toolbar, select Actions and then Sync List with VerticalResponse.
You will see the following dialogue box:
Select Sync to sync your list with VerticalResponse. You will receive an aACE Notice when the sync is complete or if any errors occur. When the process has finished, the uploaded contacts will appear in the VerticalResponse tab in aACE.
