Important Note:
Some data imports, such as Invoices and Purchases are typically used only during the initial system setup. Other imports, such as Companies, Contacts and Leads are used frequently to add new information collected from trade shows, purchased lead lists, etc.
HINT: It is most efficient to prepare your data prior to import. Doing so will save you from correcting and updating records after import. Refer to the topic on data prep for more information.
