- Navigate to the Categories module: From the Main Menu: Order Setup > Categories.
- From the New menu, select the record type you wish to add. The detail screen that appears will differ slightly based on the record type you select. To learn about category record types, click here. In this example, we are adding an inventoried item.
- Fill in the details for your category. To learn more about each section of the detail screen, refer to the links below. Note: highlighted fields are required.
- Once you've entered the details, click Save. When the confirmation dialog appears, you can activate the category or leave it pending.
